Stop Stalking Your Ex

http://nymag.com/thecut/2013/07/texting-exes-social-media-generation.html

As millennials, we face completely different dating challenges than past generations. In the age of social media, it’s very hard to get over someone once you break up. There are numerous ways to stay in touch with an ex whether we want to or not.

A few days ago I came across an interesting article that discusses this very topic. Click on the link at the top of this post to check it out.

The writer said, “Cutting ties is no longer so easy, nor I guess do we really want it to be. We gorge ourselves on the lives of our exes, we can’t help ourselves.” I completely agree with this statement. It’s almost impossible to escape our old flames.

Watch the clip below and tell me what you think the rules for social media and exes should be.

  1. Very interesting post you have here! I have my ex-boyfriend on Facebook as a friend but we never contact each other. I wish him a lot of happiness but I don’t have the need to know how’s his life going. It’s just one of these “friends” you have on Facebook but you never talk to!

I like the Christmas background and your sweater, btw!

This is my blog in case you want to visit and follow each other. Today, actually, my boyfriend and I posted a song and a video we made together (that means I’ve totally moved on! haha). Feel free to listen it and tell me what you think 🙂 Have a great day!
